ABOUT JULIA SZE AND ASSOCIATES, CLNC
Julia Sze is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant with more than 14 years of a variety of nursing experience across the healthcare field. Ms. Sze obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2000 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She later obtained her Masters of Science degree in Adult Health Nursing with concentration in Nursing Education and Research in 2008 at Lehman College of CUNY on a full grant. She graduated at the top of her class with Honors Society of Nursing and was duly inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International as a member of Delta Zeta Chapter.
LEGAL AND NURSE CONSULTING EXPERIENCE
Ms. Sze has critical nursing background in the Emergency Department Level I Trauma Room, Chest Pain Center/Stroke, Surgical Intensive Care Unit/Critical Care Unit, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Telemetry Unit, and Medical-Surgical Unit. In the Emergency Department, she has experience in Level I Trauma, triage, gynecology, neurology, cardiac, and a wide-range of critical areas.
Ms. Sze also spent five years working as a Lung Transplant Coordinator at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital, the #1 Lung Transplant Program in the nation. She has shown excellent performance in coordinating lung transplants for hundreds of patients. She maintained the Active Lung Transplant List in accordance with the mandatory guidelines of the Lung Transplant Program, United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS), Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), Infection Control, Standard of Care and Policy and Procedures. Ms. Sze also provided extensive educational lectures in accordance to the standards of care and policy and procedures at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital. She has provided one-on-one intensive consulting with each patient and his or her family in preparation for organ transplants.

Ms. Sze has published a professional research journal article, “Hypoalbuminemia and Early Mortality After Lung Transplantation: A Cohort Study” with the top Columbia University Medical Center pulmonologists and surgeons. She is dedicated as a team player and shows strong diligence in every aspect of her work.
